Cardano founder and Input CEO Charles Hoskinson received an award in Switzerland for his role in creating Crypto Valley from the Ethereum Foundation.
Hoskinson and seven other Ethereum (ETH) co-founders were honored with a prestigious award by the Canton and the City of Zug at ETH10X in Zug, Switzerland, on October 2, according to Output’s press release.
ETH10X was an event held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Ethereum Foundation. The Cardano (ADA) founder was recognized for his role in Ethereum’s creation of Crypto Valley, a global hub for blockchain innovation.
“It is an incredible honor to be recognized at ETH10X along with my fellow Ethereum co-founders. Crypto Valley has become a cornerstone for the global blockchain industry and I am proud to have played a part in its origins,” said Hoskinson upon receiving the award.
Although no longer part of the Ethereum Foundation, Hoskinson has expressed a commitment to paving the way for the blockchain industry, which led him to collaborate with Jeremy Wood in 2015 to create Input Output, one of the world’s leading blockchain infrastructure studies. and engineering companies.
“Our mission has always been to push the boundaries of decentralization, and with projects like Cardano and Midnight, we are leading the way in creating more secure, inclusive, and scalable financial systems that can empower people around the world,” said Hoskinson.
Output One of Output’s most notable projects is Cardano, a third-generation blockchain platform that hosts the ADA cryptocurrency. Now, Input Output is preparing for its fourth-generation blockchain platform, Midnight.
Input Output requests Midnight will allow users to put confidential and public information on-chain, strengthen selective disclosure, and address critical issues such as privacy, identity, and interoperability.
Alongside Cardano and Midnight, Entry Out recently launched the Voltaire era-defining Chang hard fork for Cardano, implementing CIP-1694 on September 1st.
