Bitcoin price movements took a turn for the worse yesterday as the asset fell to a multi-day low of $66,500, but has managed to recoup some of the losses.
Most altcoins are in the red on a daily basis, with ETH and BNB down around 3%.
Uncertain BTC at $67,000
Perhaps fueled by mind-boggling net inflows into local Bitcoin ETFs last week, the major cryptocurrency soared, soaring from $62,500 (last Sunday) to $69,000 on Friday.
There was an expected lull over the weekend, but BTC still managed to hold above $68,000. Monday started on another positive note, with bulls starting a run that took bitcoin to its highest price since late July of $69,500.
As the community started anticipating a rise towards $70,000, the landscape changed and BTC dropped roughly three thousand in hours to $66,500. This came as the general sentiment towards ETFs changed with the first day of exits in a few weeks.
As of now, the cryptocurrency is hovering around $67,000, down 2% on the day. Its market capitalization is down to $1.325 trillion in CG, while its dominance over the alts is at the same point as yesterday at 54.5%.

Most altcoins, led by Ethereum and Binance Coin, turned red today. The two largest-cap aces have fallen more than 3% and are now struggling below $2,650 and $600, respectively.
Similar daily losses come from AVAX, SHIB and BCH. SOL, XRP, DOGE, TON and ADA are also in the red, albeit in a less painful way. SUI and TAO have dumped most of the larger-cap alternatives.
In contrast, APT and UNI are on the rise. Aptos has shot up more than 9% in the last day and is now trading above $11. UNI has gained 6.5% and is north of $8.
The total crypto market capitalization, however, has lost over $50 billion since yesterday and is down to $2.430 trillion in CG.
