Crypto cryptic Elizabeth Warren wins against John Deaton

Elizabeth Warren, who has been vocal in her anti-crypto stance, has secured her third term as a Massachusetts senator.

NBC News data reveals that he gathered 718,766 votes, representing 59.8%, scoring a convincing victory against pro-crypto candidate John Deaton, who received 481,117 votes, or about 40%.

This would be Warren’s third six-year term. He is also a member of the Senate Finance Committee and the Senate Banking Committee, which has some jurisdiction over the SEC and CFTC.

Remember, Warren has been very vocal about his stance on crypto, which has been predominantly negative. He is also behind a bill designed to extend know-your-customer rules to validators, wallet providers, and miners.

John Deaton, on the other hand, has long been an advocate for the industry. He is a lawyer representing thousands of XRP investors in a case against the US Securities and Exchange Commission. He has also garnered support from the likes of Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, who even said he had donated to his campaign.

@JohnEDeaton1 has been a relentless supporter of the XRP Army (aka the XRP Family!) and the entire crypto industry. Meanwhile, his opponent, @SenWarren spreads misinformation and lies about crypto.

I enthusiastically and wholeheartedly support John in his Senate bid.
