2024 US Presidential Election Results: Donald Trump Declares Victory

Republican Party candidate and former president, Donald Trump, has claimed victory over his Democratic Party rival, Kamala Harris.

According to many reports, he is projected to win the important battleground states of Georgia, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. Harris has yet to concede.

As a reminder, Trump has been incredibly vocal in his pro-crypto stance during his campaign, making multiple statements that the community sees as beneficial to the industry.

For example, he promised to fire Gary Gensler, the acting chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, on his first day in office. Gensler has waged war on crypto throughout his tenure, filing several lawsuits against corporate giants in the industry, including Ripple, Coinbase, Binance and more.

In addition, Trump has hinted at the idea of ​​removing taxes on cryptocurrencies created in the United States and imposing tariffs.
