Artnames enables users to their name into a personalized NFT

A generative art project called Artnames, powered by Base, turns the user’s name into unique NFT art. Each piece is created in collaboration with renowned artists from the digital art field.

The Artnames project was founded by artist Arrotu. According to Arrotu’s blog post, the project is a combination of personalized art and blockchain technology. Users can use Artnames to transform their names into unique digital works of art “based on the letters and essence of the person’s name.”

To receive their own personalized NFT, the user simply connects their wallet and enters their real name or blockchain name. The project will then create a unique NFT that will be stored on the blockchain. Artnames claims it can create approximately 18 million possible art combinations.

It was reported that the project was launched on November 14 and will be available until November 21.

Artnames consists of six digital artists who have contributed to many possible generative NFT combinations that users can request. The list of digital artist collaborators includes ViHa, Thompsonart.eth, Yepstt, Anemale.eth, Dragic and Eduxdux.

Arratu stated in his blog post that Artnames has the potential to contribute to the growing NFT economy by opening doors to people who may want to sell or trade their personalized NFTs on the market.

“Artnames is a combination of creativity and technology that offers users a way to express their individuality in the digital world and be part of the growing NFT movement.”

The scope of Artnames’ prolific NFT minting will occur in three distinct phases depending on one’s name format. In its first phase, Artnames will be able to convert a normal text name entry, a Basename, an ENS and TON dns into an Artname NFT by generating it through the Base or Tron network.

In its second phase, Artnames will provide convenience to users who want to convert the names Degen, TEZ or Solana into NFT works of art. In the third phase, Artnames plans to produce NFT artworks based on the names Polkadot, Moonbeam and Bitcoin.
