CZ champions AI tagging integration for crypto chains

In a recent X post, Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao shares his thoughts on the use of on-chain AI tagging and why AI integration could be beneficial for crypto moving forward.

On November 27, the former Binance CEO stated that AI tagging could be well-suited for on-chain use, considering how it could help speed up the crypto payment process and get rid of unnecessary biases.

“AI tagging (or AI data in general) is well-suited to be done on-chain. “Take advantage of globally low-cost labor without geographic bias, (micro)pay them instantly with cryptocurrency,” CZ said, adding that Binance solution BNB(BNB) Greenfield already has AI data integration capability.

“More tools still need to be developed. Let’s build them,” he continues.

In a separate post, CZ responded to a comment from Zignaly Co-Founder Abdul Rafay Gadit asking if there was any recommended literature to learn more about how AI can be applied to blockchains, saying that there hasn’t been much research in the field incorporating AI. and crypto chains, as they are a relatively new innovation.

“It’s so new that there isn’t a lot of literature. “I’m trying to learn by talking to founders and developers in this space,” CZ said.

The past year has seen many AI-powered innovations making waves in the crypto space. Most notably with the creation of Truth Terminal, an AI bot obsessed with internet memes that has promoted a collection of viral meme coins, including GOAT(GOAT) and FARTCOIN. The market values of both coins rose to hundreds of millions in a short time.

There was also flavia, an AI-operated token based on an artificially generated internet persona created by Trevor McFedries, co-founder and CEO of tech company Brud, a transmedia company that produces digital personas.

In terms of blockchain integration, blockchain protocol Injective has introduced a new software development kit that allows users to create their own AI agents on-chain, called iAgent. The AI-powered tool can use natural language processing for payments and transactions, as well as automate user interactions with databases, APIs, and applications.

In his first public interview after being released from prison, CZ expressed his desire to use his time as a free man to learn more about emerging innovations in the crypto space, especially artificial intelligence.
