The Arbitrum Foundation has launched a $1 million grant program aimed at driving AI innovation across the Arbitrum network.
Trailblazer AI Grant is an initiative that will provide grant support for builders who want to bring innovative AI projects to Arbitrum (ARB). Developers and creators who build custom AI agents on top of the Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution will receive grants targeting impactful AI products, the Arbitrum Foundation noted in a blog post on Nov. 27.
Arbitrum continues to see increased adoption as an AI technology platform, with projects such as Allora Network, ARC Agents, Eternal AI, Hyperbolik, and Ora leveraging the L2 network for low fees, high throughput, and low latency.
The Foundation said the Trailblazer AI Grant Program will help bring thousands of applications and AI representatives to Arbitrum. AI developers have the opportunity to explore a variety of projects, from non-fungible tokens to ERC-20 tokens. $10,000 will be awarded to eligible projects.
However, teams need to include a live AI agent integrated with Arbitrum. Projects will also need to demonstrate innovation, be effective in terms of user engagement and growth, and offer unique value propositions. Synergy with the ARB ecosystem is also an important factor.
In addition to access to Arbitrum’s growing community and developers, selected projects will attract a global audience.
The $1 million AI grant program is being launched with the support of many other initiatives aimed at strengthening the Arbitrum ecosystem.
On November 26, developer platform Alchemy announced that Arbitrum had launched a $10 million grant funding project on Orbit chains. The fund will offer loans of up to $500,000 to each team.
In June this year, the Arbitrum community accepted a significant proposal aimed at financing the project’s gaming ecosystem. The initiative aimed to distribute Arbitrum Foundation resources, with 225 million ARB tokens valued at over $215 million allocated to the program.
The game catalyst program, or GCP, targets game developers and users for the next three years.
