Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the US recorded inflows for the fourth consecutive day on December 2, with $353.67 million flowing into the funds.
BlackRock’s IBIT fund led this spend, recording a massive inflow of $338.33 million, according to data from SoSoValue. Fidelity’s FBTC and ARK’s ARKB funds contributed to this trend with inflows of $25.14 million and $17.24 million, respectively.
More modest contributions came from Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust, which recorded inflows of $6.36 million, and Franklin Templeton’s EZBC, which recorded inflows of $5.56 million into the fund. However, these gains were partially offset by a $28.11 million loss from Grayscale’s flagship GBTC fund and a $10.85 million outflow from VanEck’s HODL fund.
The remaining Bitcoin ETFs remained neutral throughout the day.
Overall, the trading volume of the 12 Bitcoin ETFs rose to $3.91 billion; This represents a significant increase of 55.78% from the $2.51 billion recorded in the previous trading day. Despite the positive entry trend, Bitcoin (BTC) prices were down slightly, trading at $96,101, down 0.5% on the day.
Ethereum ETFs struggle after record inflows
In contrast, Ethereum ETFs experienced a significant decline in inflows, recording only $24.23 million on December 2. This marked a sharp decline from the previous record day, when $332.92 million flowed into the funds.
BlackRock’s ETHA fund maintained its lead among Ethereum ETFs, generating $55.92 million in inflows. Fidelity’s FETH also contributed to the day’s modest total, recording $19.9 million.
But these gains were overshadowed by significant outflows from Grayscale’s ETHE fund, which reported a loss of $44.36 million. Invesco’s QETH fund also added to the decline, losing $7.23 million.
Five other Ethereum ETFs reported zero net flows, highlighting waning investor interest. However, trading volumes of nine Ethereum ETFs increased significantly, reaching $644.05 million; This was more than double the previous day’s activity.
At the time of writing, Ethereum (ETH) was trading at $3,657, down 0.6% on the day.
