Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the US recorded inflows for the ninth consecutive day on December 10, with total net inflows into these investment products exceeding $34 billion.
According to SoSoValue data, 12 spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $439.56 million in inflows on Tuesday, extending their streak to nine days. During this period, more than 4 billion dollars entered these funds.
BlackRock’s IBIT dominated inflows for the eighth consecutive day, raising $295.63 million. Fidelity’s FBTC follows this with $210.48 million, while ARK 21Shares’ ARKB, Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust and Hashdex’s DEFI are $5.77 million, $6.42 million and $1.4 million, respectively. It added $1 million, adding to the positive momentum.
However, these inflows were partially offset by outflows of $62.82 million from Grayscale’s GBTC, $11.56 million from Invesco’s BTCO, and $5.45 million from VanEck’s HODL. The remaining four BTC ETFs saw zero flows on the day.
The latest inflows enabled cumulative total net inflows into these funds to rise above the $34 billion milestone for the first time.
On December 10, the total trading volume of 12 Bitcoin ETFs was $3.78 billion, below the $4.35 billion recorded the previous day.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading sideways and was only 2.5% below the $100,000 level.
Ether ETFs see 100% increase in inflows
Spot Ethereum ETFs also experienced significant activity; It recorded a net inflow of $305.74 million on December 10; This was the third-highest day of inflows on record, an increase of over 100% from the $149.79 million recorded the previous day. The two biggest days of Ethereum ETF inflows were December 5 and November 29, with $428.44 million and $332.92 million respectively.
Fidelity’s FETH led Ethereum ETF inflows with $202.23 million, followed by BlackRock’s ETHA with $81.66 million and Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust with $25.84 million.
Grayscale’s ETHE was the only fund to report an exit, leaving the fund with $3.99 million. ETHE has recorded total outflows of $3.5 billion since its launch.
As of this writing, cumulative total net inflows into Ethereum ETFs were $1.87 billion. Ethereum (ETH) traded at $3,658 per coin, down 1.2% over the past day.
