SKALE Labs and esports and gamification platform Moxy are partnering to reshape the gaming industry.
According to SKALE Labs, this collaboration represents a significant milestone in the interconnection of web2 and web3 gaming.
SKALE is a blockchain network that enables scalable and user-centric decentralized applications across gaming, AI, and other dApps. These applications leverage SKALE’s gas-free and fully Ethereum (ETH) virtual machine compatible network to accelerate mass adoption.
With the launch of SKALE’s gasless blockchain on Moxy, the gaming landscape is set to transform and the way players earn rewards is changing.
“By eliminating gas fees and leveraging SKALE’s high-throughput infrastructure, we are setting a new standard for how players can earn rewards through gamification. We now have the potential to bridge the gap between casual and competitive gaming experiences, creating a seamless and rewarding experience for all users.”
Nolan Bushnell, co-founder of Moxy.
The platform recently increased the speed and efficiency of its network, with Pacifica V3 increasing block mining speed and transaction throughput by 108% and 122% respectively. According to the announcement, Moxy will be able to save its users up to $3.5 million in annual transaction fees by leveraging these network improvements.
Advancing Web3 games
Moxy’s integration into SKALE Network will increase player engagement and improve rewards and loyalty programs for games on the platform.
The partnership with SKALE adds to Moxy’s growing alliance and integration with key players in the ecosystem.
Recently, it partnered with web3 rewards platform Metadomo to offer real-world rewards to its players. Its partnership with in-game monetization app Overwolf has also increased its appeal to players looking for competitive play and real rewards.
