Polygon-based Alien Cats climbed to the top of the non-fungible token (NFT) market with $1.32 million in sales on Monday, according to CryptoSlam data.
The newly launched NFT had a unit price of $30,000 but only had 11 sellers and buyers each.
The second highest performing collection of the day was the BRC-20 NFT collection π, which increased its total sales volume to $1.12 million, up from $418,754 the previous day.
In third place in daily sales was the DMarket collection, which specializes in virtual in-game items and NFTs on the Mythos network.
DMarket recorded a total volume of $579,888 in 25,480 transactions on Monday.
Other notable collections include NodeMonkes and DogeZuki Collection, which came in fourth and fifth respectively. NodeMonkes saw $471,749 in daily sales volume with 46 transactions, while DogeZuki Collection raised $443,920 with 10,429 transactions.
Both collections have shown significant engagement from their communities, with NodeMonkes maintaining a high average price of $10,255 per NFT, while the DogeZuki Collection showcased its mass-market appeal with a lower average price of $42.57.
