Aptos integrates with Chainlink for off-chain access

By integrating Chainlink Data Streams, Aptos allows developers on its blockchain to access trusted off-chain data to build decentralized applications.

The move announced by Aptos (APT) increases the scalability and security of Aptos-based applications by leveraging Chainlink’s tamper-proof and reliable infrastructure.

Chainlink (LINK) is widely regarded as a standard for providing verifiable data to blockchains, with its decentralized oracle network supporting major decentralized finance protocols.

Chainlink provides the accuracy and reliability needed for complex Web3 applications by aggregating premium data from multiple sources and eliminating single points of failure.

Earlier this week, Ripple announced that their facility would use Chainlink’s blockchain technology to provide reliable pricing data for its RLUSD stablecoin.

Scalability and efficiency

For Aptos, this partnership builds on its reputation for scalability and efficiency. Blockchain’s use of the Move programming language and modular architecture enables fast transactions with less delay.

Aptos’ Block-STM engine supports complex transactions, making it an attractive platform for developers looking to create secure and scalable solutions, according to the company.

“The Chainlink standard gives developers access to high-quality, tamper-proof data that is vital for building secure applications,” said Bashar Lazaar, Head of Grants and Ecosystem at Aptos Foundation.

The integration offers key features such as high-quality data distribution, decentralized infrastructure, and real-time transparency, all designed to increase the reliability of dApps on Aptos.
