Binance introduced the new version of its exchange wallet, Binance Wallet. The new wallet is packed with upgraded features, including a unified wallet, revamped airdrop zone, and a new interface.
In a notification published on December 9, Binance rebranded the old Binance Web3 Wallet as Binance Wallet, a new upgraded version that promises to make the web3 experience more seamless with a series of new updates that will be rolled out in various stages.
This suite of upgrades highlights the “Seamless” theme designed to make the platform easier to navigate, along with features aimed at improving asset management, streamlining airdrop access, and elevating the overall user experience.
The revamped Binance Wallet is designed to accelerate this transition, providing intuitive tools that simplify the decentralized experience and creating a seamless way for anyone to discover and benefit from Web3,” said Winson Liu, Global Leader of Binance Wallet, in a press release.
The first update is called Unified Wallet, which simplifies asset management for users by compiling various cryptocurrencies from multiple wallets and networks into a single interface that supports a wide variety of chains.
This way, users do not need to switch between multiple wallets. Not only that, this feature also gives users a complete overview of their entire portfolio in one unified dashboard. Unified Wallet also makes it easy to send and receive tokens by only displaying relevant wallet and chain combinations that contain funds.
The second upgrade is the revamped Airdrop Zone and Rewards Center. Binance Wallet offers exclusive airdrops to users, giving them early access to tokens from upcoming web3 projects. The Airdrop Zone also uses a reward mechanism that operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
The wallet’s new Rewards Center aggregates all airdrop statuses and pending rewards into one hub that allows users to keep track of everything in one place.
With this upgrade, Binance will launch an Airdrop Carnival event starting December 10. Airdrop Carnival is a multi-week event offering airdrops of $5 million in tokens from upcoming Web3 projects.
Finally, Binance Wallet comes with a new user interface layout that combines pop art elements and 2D illustrations. The new user interface is designed to make navigating the app easier.
