Binance will support Wise Monkey airdrop for APE, FLOKI holders

Binance has announced plans to support the Wise Monkey airdrop, which aims to reward ApeCoin and Floki holders.

This development, which will distribute a portion of Wise Monkey (MONKY) supply, is part of a joint effort by Floki, Ape Accelerator and other major blockchain entities to inject new energy into the crypto ecosystem.

According to Binance’s announcement, the airdrop will use wallet snapshots to determine eligibility. The snapshot for ApeCoin (APE) holders occurred at 00:00 UTC on November 29. Meanwhile, Floki (FLOKI) holders will receive their snapshots on December 15 at 00:00 UTC.

Binance confirmed that the distribution will adhere to a certain rate. Specifically, for every 1 FLOKI held, a market participant will receive 0.35 MONKY, while each 1 APE token will equal 804,828 MONKY.

To qualify for the airdrop, users must have at least 1 FLOKI or 1 APE. Balances below this threshold, including those traded, withdrawn, or deposited at the time of the snapshot, are excluded.

The exchange emphasized that eligible balances include assets in Binance financing and spot wallets, as well as some flexible accounts such as Simple Earn. However, liabilities on margin accounts and borrowed tokens are not eligible.

Wise Monkey airdrop

The Wise Monkey token takes its inspiration from the proverb “See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil”. Memecoin will be launched on Binance Smart Chain later this month.

FLOKI and APE holders are ready to receive some of the supply. The project plans to allocate 35% of the supply to the Floki community; 27% will be distributed over the air to supported central exchanges and on-chain assets. Meanwhile, 10% of the supply will go to APE holders.

Binance’s latest support follows a similar move from OKX, Uphold, and KuCoin. While MONKY token distribution has been approved, its listing for trading on Binance is subject to the platform’s strict review process and no guarantees are provided.
