BNB Chain and SingularityNET Foundation are collaborating to advance the future of artificial intelligence and blockchain integration.
BNB Chain and SingularityNET (AGIX), a member of the Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) Alliance, which also includes Fetch.ai and Ocean Protocol, announced the partnership in a blog post published on August 29.
Partnership for decentralized storage solutions
The statement noted that BNB Chain and SingularityNET aim to develop the decentralized storage solutions industry and promote the decentralized data economy.
The partnership aims to achieve this goal through the “data-as-an-asset” concept, which allows users to control and monetize their personal data. The two companies will join forces to bring SingularityNET’s technology stack and BNB Chain’s decentralized storage solution, BNB Greenfield, to more users.
“The integration of the SingularityNET platform with BNB Greenfield provides an ideal platform for deploying next-generation AI systems that transcend the limitations of current GenAI systems and meet the full spectrum of application needs.”
Dr. Ben Goertzel, founder of SingularityNET.
Blockchain solution
AI continues to see unprecedented growth across applications and integrations in the blockchain ecosystem and elsewhere. However, there are still hurdles to practical implementation of generative AI, and increasing issues with deepfakes and other malicious uses are a major concern.
The further integration of SingularityNET and the ASI network with the BNB Smart Chain is a step towards providing a solution. BNB Chain plans to provide both technical support, incubation and grants to projects that aim to bring these solutions to the real world.
Other blockchain platforms working towards this goal include Filecoin, Sia, Storj, and Arweave.
