Catana and Cheyenne surge 250%: XRP reclaims $1

Cat-themed Catana and horse-themed Cheyenne are up more than 250% amid a renewed market rally.

Relatively new meme coins Catana and Cheyenne have posted triple-digit gains in the past 24 hours. This move helped these meme coins become among the top two winners on CoinGecko.

Catana price saw a 270% increase from its 24-hour low of $0.008634 to $0.03586. The exact reason for the increase is unclear.

Launched on the Solana (SOL) blockchain, the Catana meme token was abandoned by its original issuer shortly after launch.

It has since been revived by fans, highlighting the cultural appeal of cat-related memes and a unique anti-whale mechanism to ensure fair trade.

It may be due to the general increase in the value of the crypto market and the increase in the price of Solana. Catana was also very active on X but did not work on any developments that could trigger the pump.

Horse-themed Cheyenne up 250%

It was seen that the price of Cheyenne, which took the second place as the highest gainer, increased by 250% in the last 24 hours. The price rose from $0.007521 to $0.04718.

BitMart’s announcement that it will soon list Cheyenne on the exchange is one of the possible reasons for this increase. This increase pushed Cheyenne’s market value to over $43.9 million.

Ripple took back $1

Although the meme coins above are relatively new, when looking at the top 10 coins, Ripple (XRP) stands out with its rise of nearly 30%.

XRP has seen a positive rise since Donald Trump was re-elected as US President, which coincided with hints that SEC Chairman Gary Gensler would resign.

The increase also follows a lengthy lawsuit filed against the SEC by a group of state attorneys general.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, alleging unconstitutional overreach.

After this, the price of XRP increased from $ 0.8701 to $ 1.22. XRP is currently trading at $1.15.
