Chromia has partnered with Mantle-based Chasm Network to increase decentralized AI transparency by using blockchain for data management.
Layer 1 blockchain platform Chromia announced a technical partnership with Chasm Network to increase the transparency and accountability of AI systems.
Under this collaboration, Chromia will serve as a decentralized database layer for storing AI inference data, using a decentralized application already deployed on Chromia’s mainnet, Chromia said in a press release shared with crypto.news on Monday, October 21.
“The application creates transparent and immutable records, ensuring the verifiability of sources used in AI decision-making processes.”

Additionally, Mantle-based Chasm Network announced that its native token, Chasm AI, will launch on October 24, although its specific role in the partnership remains unclear. Chromia’s head of business development, Yeou Jie, stated that the collaboration “improves secure and efficient data management for complex use cases, including decentralized AI.”
Technology giants will make blockchain compatible with artificial intelligence
As the intersection of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology continues to evolve, tech giants are signaling that they are ready to join the field. Samsung recently announced plans to expand the use of blockchain to improve security in AI-powered home appliances.
In a blog post, Samsung explained that this initiative will expand the existing Knox Matrix framework, previously implemented in mobile devices and televisions, to a wider range of home appliances. This framework uses a private blockchain to create a “Chain of Trust” that allows interconnected devices to monitor each other for security threats and alert users when problems arise.
