Coinbase (COIN), which announced yesterday that it wanted to support wallet manufacturers’ efforts to simplify access and user experience, especially for beginners, is offering an application that allows users to manage all their on-chain wallets and activities from a single place.
The app will allow users to connect multiple wallets and buy, trade, transfer, stake, and mint coins from their wallets. Adopters will also be able to interact with each other.
“Many people today use manual spreadsheets and have to open multiple browser tabs to track their assets,” Coinbase said in a statement. “The ability to see and track all of their assets comprehensively in one place has always been a challenge for users. We wanted to provide a solution for many people trying to manage multiple crypto wallets.”
The app can be used on both desktop computers and mobile devices and will also work with smart wallets.
Other wallet providers like Exodus have previously launched similar products.
Coinbase, on the other hand, wants to offer a “super app” similar to China’s popular WeChat, and the announced app is the first step on this long path.
