Ledger has announced the launch of the Ledger Flex device as part of its second new product launch of 2024.

In this focus, the company also shared details about its new application Ledger Security Key, which provides seamless login to accounts for the “Proof of You” concept. Ledger Security Key, a new application designed for Ledger Stax and Ledger Flex and providing Two-Factor Authentication and Passkey features, will be a secure and easy-to-use alternative to traditional passwords and will also remove phishing attacks from security risk factors.

Thanks to the Ledger Security Key, you will be able to log in using your Ledger wallet without having to type in your password, use a browser extension or use a less secure 2FA method like SMS. Built on the open FIDO 2 specification, this feature allows for decentralized access across platforms and is already compatible with Google, Amazon, Binance, Coinbase and many more platforms.

Embracing a future of digital value requires secure recovery options that ensure digital assets or identities are never lost. In 2023, Ledger launched Ledger Recover, powered by Coincover, which allows users to encrypt, fragment, and backup their secret recovery phrase.
