‘Dogecoin Killer’ Shiba Inu Developers Outline Future Plans in First Interview

Shytoshi Kusama and Kaal Dhairya, the once anonymous leaders of the world’s largest decentralized community of Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: SHIB), have broken their silence in their first interview with Arabian Business.

What Happened: After weeks of negotiations and security protocols, the interview took place at a coffee shop at 3 a.m. Both Kusama and Dhairya remained completely anonymous during the interview and photoshoot that followed. Once an Uber driver in Los Angeles and a food delivery courier in New York, Kusama and Dhairya now dominate the second-most traded cryptocurrency in 2023 after Bitcoin.

Under Kusama’s leadership, Shiba Inu’s valuations have ranged from $10 billion to $41 billion. Their goal is to make Shiba Inu the world’s first trillion-dollar decentralized enterprise. Less than 5% of the world is currently in crypto. They envision memes as the gateway to crypto and blockchain, and Shiba Inu as the brand that moves the world from Web2 to Web3.

Kusama added that by the end of 2024, they will hand everything over to the community and we will withdraw. She noted that there will be committees of people who will lead certain things.

Why It’s Important: Shytoshi and Kaal explained that Ryoshi had a specific plan to create five tokens (SHIB, BONE, LEASH, TREAT, SHI) and multiple pieces of technology. Initially, he assumed that if someone could build all of these, then he could surpass Dogecoin. “That was the plan — he was the Dogecoin killer.”

Shytoshi explained how he met Ryoshi in a chatroom and presented him with a simple idea, which the latter called a great idea and they continued to work on it. He recruited Kaal because he knew he was the tech genius he needed by his side.

Referring to Dhariya, Arabian Business said SHIB is all about creating memes and that is what they want: “People are building their own thing with this and our mission is to give them the ability to spread their message.”

Kusama stated that even though people see themselves as just memes, they have a structure that allows them to do business with everyone in this world. She said that without Elon Musk, there is no Tesla, but without Shy or Kaal Shibu, it is still there.
