According to his campaign statements, Donald Trump holds between $1 million and $5 million in ether (ETH) and earns significant income from NFT licensing fees.
While the amount of ether is unclear in the disclosed files, Arkham Intelligence reported that the assets in Trump’s wallet were around $3.6 million.
In addition to his ether holdings, the filings show that Trump earned $7.15 million from a licensing deal with a firm called NFT INT, and former First Lady Melania Trump earned $330,609 from NFT sales.
OpenSea data shows that Trump Digital Trading Cards have had a trading volume of over 15,808 ETH since their debut. In July, Trump said he planned to release another NFT collection.
The former president, who has said he approves of crypto at various events and made promises, did not say anything about crypto in his X Space broadcast with Elon Musk earlier this week. The subject was not mentioned in his most recent press conference either.
