Donald Trump releases fourth NFT collection

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced his fourth NFT collection with bonus trading cards through Bitcoin Ordinals.

Titled “Series 4: America First Collection,” former President Trump announced that a digital trading card collection released as non-fungible tokens will offer additional perks to big spenders.

The NFTs are priced at $99 each, while buyers who spend up to $24,750 on the cards can win perks such as Trump cocktails, sneakers, a dinner with Trump in Florida and a suit from the CNN debate against US President Joe Biden.

Donald Trump first ventured into NFTs in December 2022. Since then, his digital collectibles have earned him over $1 million in cryptocurrencies like Ethereum (ETH). Despite his previous skepticism of the Web3 economy, Trump’s NFT collections signal a shift in his approach to digital assets.

The Republican candidate launched his third NFT series in May and declared himself a “crypto presidential candidate.” Trump reiterated his stance during a speech at the Nashville Bitcoin (BTC) 2024 conference.

Speaking in front of nearly 20,000 attendees, the former president emphasized his pro-crypto and pro-Bitcoin stance, saying that America will hold BTC assets and turn them into a national strategic reserve.

Trump took this even further by nominating Bitcoin owner JD Vance as his vice presidential candidate and including former independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in his campaign.
