Dune, a platform focused on on-chain analytics, has become a comprehensive data hub for Polkadot’s blockchain network by integrating over 50 parachains from the Polkadot ecosystem.
According to a press release shared with Crypto.news, this expansion of Polkadot (DOT) will allow developers, investors, and data analysts to access and analyze real-time data from the Polkadot ecosystem.
In other words, Dune has added data from more than 50 different blockchains, known as parachains, to the Polkadot network, making it easier for people to track and analyze activity in real time.
Polkadot integration details
This new integration expands the scope, allowing users to explore on-chain activities such as transaction flows, DeFi activities, and developments in gaming and NFTs.
It began supporting Dune, Polkadot, Kusama (KSM), and six parachains in early 2024. Core parachains added to this integration include Moonbeam, Acala, Phala, and Mythos, each contributing to Polkadot’s various sectors from DeFi to gaming.
This integration is built through a partnership with Colorful Notion, which ensures reliable and accurate data. Additionally, Dune offers advanced functionality through its API, allowing users to create flexible endpoints for deeper analysis.
Last year, Dune launched DuneAI, which allows users to query crypto data via natural language, eliminating the need for SQL. Dune also introduced Dune Data Hub, which allows for seamless integration and contribution of datasets for advanced data management.
