DWF Labs terminate partner accused of drugging job applicant

DWF Labs has cut ties with a partner accused of drugging a job applicant during a meeting in Hong Kong on October 24.

The alleged victim, who identified herself as “Hana” on social media, reported that her husband tried to force her into the hotel room after allegedly spiking her drink.

According to Hana’s posts on X, the incident occurred during a work-related meeting at a bar. A bar employee allegedly saw his partner put something in his drink while he was in the toilet.

Hana said he tried to switch drinks but was reportedly prevented from doing so. The woman, who felt dizzy after leaving the bar, claimed that her partner pressured her to go to the hotel, saying, “I have a suite at the Murray (hotel).”

After watching this, I was even more disgusted as he repeatedly added it to the drink and swirled it around to dissolve the powder. I’m lucky enough to be saved by the waitress, but I want to expose this creep so that no other girl becomes his victim.

Hana reported the incident to local police and posted video evidence online that she claimed showed the man drugging his drink. He also shared footage of the incident report and CCTV footage.

DWF Laboratories’ response

DWF Labs addressed the allegations on October 29, announcing that it had removed the accused partner from management duties while the investigation was ongoing and was cooperating with authorities as the investigation progressed.

“DWF Labs is aware of recent and extremely worrying allegations involving one of our partners who has been accused of inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour. While the matter is investigated, DWF Labs has decided to remove the partner in question from his management and operational duties with immediate effect.”

DWF Labs said in a statement.

Although the company did not name the person, co-founder Eugene Ng was removed from the company’s team page and appears to have deleted his social media accounts following the accusations, according to an X post.
