Web3 security platform GoPlus has partnered with Neo’s EVM-compatible sidechain Neo X to enhance node-level security.
According to a press release shared with crypto.news, Neo (NEO) X has become the first blockchain to integrate GoPlus’ Security Module, which provides a basic layer of protection for users on the sidechain.
The integration offers an on-chain firewall via the GoPlus User Security Module (USM) that automatically scans transactions based on users’ customized security preferences.
Essentially, this new system automatically checks transactions for risks and blocks dangerous ones, thus helping to keep users’ assets safe. Neo X will improve and secure interactions and strengthen asset protection by blocking risky transactions in real time.
USM details
USM acts as a bridge between user actions and GoPlus’ SecWare services. When an action occurs, it is evaluated in real time by GoPlus’ AI-powered security system, which decides whether the action should proceed or be blocked based on the security assessment.
Designed as a modular solution, GoPlus’ USM can be integrated with any blockchain to improve user protection and combat a variety of threats. By partnering with Neo X, GoPlus offers an end-to-end security solution, ensuring node-level security while maintaining the permissionless and decentralized nature of Neo X.
John Wang, Neo’s Head of Eco-Growth, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating that this partnership, combined with Neo’s upcoming anti-MEV feature, provides “unprecedented levels of safety and fairness.”
