NFT sales drop to $77.6m, Bitcoin network leads in weekly surge

The non-fungible token or NFT market witnessed a 4.16% decline in sales volume in the last seven days.

Here’s a breakdown of Cryptoslam’s latest data:

NFT sales volume decreased over the last seven days to $77.6 million; This is lower than the previous week’s weekly NFT sales. Last week’s 794,763 NFT sellers dropped to 121,399, marking a decline of 67.87%. NFT transactions dropped over 13.78% in the last seven days to 1,662,101. Bitcoin leads blockchain in seven-day rise

Now let’s take a look at the blockchains that are at their peak in this period.

Ethereum (ETH) ranks first in terms of sales volume. However, the Bitcoin (BTC) network has exhibited a 23.11% increase in volume over the past seven days.

Figures at $15.6 million are significantly higher than last week’s $1.7 million.

Cryptoslam shows Ethereum ranked first with NFT sales volume of $26.5 million. However, $2.7 million of the total sales consisted of fake trade.

The number of Ethereum NFT buyers decreased by 52% to 26,673.

Bitcoin ranked second in total sales with $15.6 million.

Solana (SOL) ranks third with sales of $10.5 million. Mythos Chain (MYTH), Polygon (POL), and Binance Coin (BNB) followed with sales of $8.3 million, $5.3 million, and $3.2 million, respectively.

Solana recorded the highest number of buyers with 60,115, just like last week. However, it is quite low compared to last week’s 393,044 recipients.

DMarket still ranks first in NFT Collection Rankings by Sales Volume (CryptoSlam)

Just like last week, the best-selling NFT collection of the last seven days was DMarket. Sales totaled $8.02 million across more than 342,900 transactions.

Guild of Guardians Heroes ranks second on the list with sales of $3.02 million. At third place on the list, CryptoPunks was dethroned by Bitcoin Puppets, with a 59.2% increase in sales volume in the last seven days, reaching $2.97 million.

As for the top NFT collectible sales, below are the top NFT sales over the last seven days:

Bored Ape Yacht Club #7940 sold for $1,433,582 (588ETH). Axie Infinity sold for $79,729 (32.6 ETH). Known Origin #33608 sold for $73,160 (30 WETH). CryptoPunks #7476 sold for $70,728 (28.99 ETH). CryptoPunks #3654 sold for $69,672 (28.5 ETH).
