Sellings in the NFT market surged amid mixed cryptocurrency price action; While Bitcoin has reclaimed the $100,000 level, Ethereum has pulled back from last week’s $4,000 level.
According to CoinMarketCap data, the capitalization of the global cryptocurrency market contracted slightly to $3.63 trillion from $3.67 trillion last week.
According to the latest data from CryptoSlam, the NFT market increased by 16.36%, reaching $224.5 million in total sales volume. However, data shows that the number of unique buyers decreased by 73.97% to 180,641.
Ethereum network sees 21% increase
The Ethereum (ETH) blockchain continues its dominance with sales of $118.9 million, an increase of 21.33% compared to the previous period. The network saw a surge in fraudulent trading, rising 117.35% to $43.8 million.
Bitcoin (BTC) NFT ecosystem sales increased by 14.79% to $51.8 million. The network’s wash trading increased modestly by 11.30%, indicating relatively cleaner trading activity compared to Ethereum.

Solana (SOL) strengthened its position with sales of $21.4 million, a growth of 32.12%. Mythos Chain (MYTH) and ImmutableX (IMX) rounded out the top five with sales of $10.9 million and $8.5 million, respectively.
The collection rankings saw major changes: Pudgy Penguins (the collection consists of 8,888 unique penguin avatars) retained its first position. Sales volumes reached 30 million dollars, an increase of 51.53% compared to the previous period.
Pudgy Penguins went beyond digital art; The brand is now exploring various licensing opportunities, including physical products and toys inspired by NFT characters.
BRC-20 NFTs continue their strong performance with $15.5 million in sales, up 54.63%. The sales of LilPudgys, one of the important newcomers, increased by 1,021.54% and reached 13.5 million dollars.
Azuki and Guild of Guardians Heroes round out the top five; Azuki is showing particular strength, with a 179.46% increase in sales.
