Tesla CEO and billionaire Elon Musk has replaced his profile picture on Twitter, formerly known as the X, with laser eyes, sparking speculation that the longtime Dogecoin supporter will attend the upcoming Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.
David Bailey, CEO of BTC Inc., the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine and the annual Bitcoin conference, hinted at Musk’s announcement of attending the Nashville Bitcoin conference on July 19 with a mysterious tweet in which he “apologizes in advance for breaking the internet.”
I apologize in advance for disrupting your internet.

Musk has been an ardent pumper of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, which has led to lawsuits from Dogecoin investors. They filed a lawsuit against Musk in the summer of 2022, claiming that viral social media posts showed that he manipulated the Dogecoin market. Musk denied the claim, and his lawyers disputed any price pumping: “There is nothing illegal about tweeting words of support or funny pictures for a legitimate cryptocurrency that continues to have a market cap of around $10 billion.”
Trump will be the keynote speaker at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, and the crypto industry is eagerly awaiting whether Musk’s laser eyes will accompany Trump on stage.
On social media, analysts who track the crypto industry have highlighted Musk’s strong promise to support former President Trump — even claiming he would donate $45 million a month to the Republican presidential candidate. Trump was in Michigan over the weekend, where he doubled down on his support for the controversial tech mogul. “Elon. I love Elon Musk. Do we love him?” Trump asked. “I love him.”
“We must make life beautiful for our smart people [like Musk]”I read — I didn’t even know about it, he didn’t even mention it to me, but he gives me $45 million a month,” Trump added. “I talked to him a while ago and I said, ‘I’m on my way over here. How are you?’ And he never mentioned it.”
