RippleX, the portal designed to empower developers in the XRP Ledger ecosystem, has today shared an important update that requires action from certain users.

In a post on Twitter, RippleX took the opportunity to remind people that anyone using a node on XRPL must upgrade to the latest version of Rippled to ensure continued service.

In a post nearly a month ago, the team further clarified what version 2.2.0 has to offer.

First, action by certain users is required.

If you are using an XRP Ledger server, please upgrade to version 2.2.0 by June 17, 2024 to ensure continued service. The exact time when protocol changes take effect depends on the voting decisions of the decentralized network.

If you are using a Clio server, Clio must be upgraded to 2.1.2 before upgrading to rippled 2.2.0. Clio will crash if not updated.

In addition, fixes and new features are also detailed, and some developers can update their code and workflow to take advantage of them.
