TAMİ, Garanti BBVA’s New Payment and Electronic Money Institution, Focuses on the E-commerce and Payment World

Garanti BBVA, which has taken a leading role with its innovative services developed in the field of payment systems in Turkey, has started its operations with its new subsidiary Garanti Payment and Electronic Money Services Inc. TAMİ brand, offering payment systems infrastructure and digital payment solutions.

TAMİ aims to make a difference in the rapidly growing world of e-commerce and online payments with the innovative products and solutions it will provide to businesses and end users, thanks to Garanti BBVA’s experience in payment systems and its strong technological infrastructure. TAMİ’s goals, products and solutions, and the latest developments in the world of e-commerce and payments were shared with the public at the press conference hosted by Garanti BBVA Deputy General Manager Ceren Acer Kezik and TAMİ General Manager Melda Çetin.

The main products of TAMİ, Garanti BBVA’s new payment and e-money company, will be Multi-bank POS and Prepaid Card. Customers will be able to apply for these products through tami.com.tr, TAMI mobile application or Garanti BBVA’s digital channels, Garanti BBVA Mobile and Garanti BBVA Internet, and Garanti BBVA branches. On the TAMİ multi-bank POS side, which will make life easier especially for businesses that do e-commerce focused business or are new to e-commerce, customers will be able to purchase a single TAMİ POS and make transactions as if they had the POS of many banks.

Young people over the age of 12 can use their cards above this limit by verification and with the approval of their parents. They can spend the amount they put in their accounts freely and safely, through physical or online channels. Parents can also monitor their children’s spending and set sector-based spending limits. We offer cash refund campaigns to our customers when using their cards, money transfer to or from IBAN, PtoP money transfer that can be made via “Tamili to Tamil QR” or phone number, and e-money wallet products.
