Blockaid, an on-chain security platform with partners including Coinbase, Stellar, and Metamask, announced its integration with World Network’s own custody wallet, World App.
This integration aims to increase security for World App users and developers. In a press release shared with crypto.news on November 26, Blockaid stated that the wallet, developed by Tools for Humanity and an integral part of the World Network (WLD), will provide additional benefits to mini-app developers and users exploring the digital asset market.
World App offers features such as World ID, which allows network users to verify their human identity anonymously. This allows newcomers to interact with the decentralized finance ecosystem while protecting their privacy and security.
Beyond front-end security, Blockaid will monitor on-chain threats, including phishing attacks, crypto hacks, and smart contract exploits. In October, Blockaid partnered with Stellar (XLM), providing the network with protection against these threats. The platform also collaborated with Immutable in the same month.
Blockaid currently supports the security of wallet interfaces such as Lobstr and Freighter. Its partnership with World App provides strong protection for users interacting with decentralized applications. Since its launch in 2022, Blockaid has consistently introduced technologies designed to protect projects and users from malicious actors.
The platform has helped secure assets worth more than $200 billion and has screened more than 5 billion transactions.
According to Blockaid, its technology helps prevent potential losses of up to $300 million every month. In September, Blockaid announced that it had helped fend off a potential $700,000 loss through Angel Drainer.
Coinbase, Stellar and Metamask are among the top crypto platforms that leverage Blockaid technology. The venture capital-backed platform has raised $33 million from Ribbit, Variant, and Sequoia, among others.
