Zeebit, a decentralized, custody-free protocol, is preparing to launch the first Web3 micro-gaming platform within the Solana blockchain ecosystem.
In a press release sent to crypto.news, the Zeebit team said that the platform’s new on-chain risky gaming platform, Sonic, will go live on the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) Layer 2 chain and will offer a range of innovative Web3 games.
“Our collaboration with Sonic was made possible by the improvements made to SVM in recent months. These improvements use core functionality to unlock new types of games and experiences,” said Bayzian, a core contributor at Zeebit.
Zeebit’s platform will offer classic casino and PVP games with on-chain verifiability, provable fairness, and custody-free settlement. Player histories, statistics, and scores from Zeebit’s existing Solana-based protocol will be migrated to Sonic, leveraging Sonic’s scalable network designed for high-volume decentralized applications (dApps).
Zeebit plans testnet launch in the coming weeks
The Zeebit team plans to launch on the Sonic testnet before moving to mainnet and full migration. This testnet phase, planned for the coming weeks, will allow users to try out both existing and new games such as Dice, Coin Flip, Limbo, Roulette, Plinko, Mines, and Crash. Participants in the testnet will earn Zeebit points and Sonic rings that they can then redeem.

Once the full mainnet launches, Zeebit will be one of the first decentralized casino platforms to go live on Sonic. SonicSVM CEO Chris Zhu praised Zeebit’s use of Sonic, stating that the platform is not just another crypto casino, but a pioneering project that fully utilizes Web3 technology within Solana.
“We are excited that the Zeebit team will be able to realize their vision using Sonic and create a truly transparent, fair, and entertaining suite of games. By using their customized Sonic game stack, they will become a leading example in the Sonic ecosystem and be compatible with the rest of the Solana ecosystem,” said Zhu.
Zeebit is incubated by Solana Labs and backed by investors such as Jump Crypto, Mirana Ventures, and GBV.
